I’m a data scientist who believes families deserve a clearer and more thoughtful way to understand the university outcomes reported by Hong Kong’s international schools. I created this site to bring publicly available information into one place, apply a consistent methodology, and show the underlying sources so that parents and students can explore the evidence for themselves.

Choosing a school is a deeply personal decision, and university placement is only one part of that choice. The right school is also one where a child feels supported, develops confidence, builds meaningful relationships, discovers new interests, and has the space to grow into the person they want to become. Teaching quality, school culture, wellbeing, inclusion, pastoral care, and extracurricular opportunities may matter just as much as a university destination.

It is also important to interpret these results carefully. Schools admit different groups of students, so their outcomes reflect more than the education they provide. Prior academic achievement, admissions selectivity, family circumstances, language background, and access to support outside school can all influence where students eventually study. A strong set of university outcomes does not, by itself, prove that the school caused those results.

This site is not intended to give a final answer about which school is “best.” It is a research tool designed to make one important aspect of school outcomes easier to understand. My hope is that it helps families ask better questions, look beyond reputation and marketing, and make decisions that reflect the needs, strengths, and happiness of their own child.
